Details: Back in the 80s, the Air Jordan originals were often worn by skaters, but were never designed for such use. Indeed, it was several years before any dedicated skateboarding kicks were readily available. In long-overdue recognition of this fact, Nike has developed a sneaker model specifically targeted at the skater market - the Air Jordan 1 Low Phat. Retaining all the classic style components, the shoe has been enhanced with extra padding, similar to the SB Dunk.
